Last year students attending the SSND School in Szignum, Hungary played a leading role in the European Eco-Parliament. This year the students elected a new student president: Márton Binecz (7th grade).
The 5th grade students took the lead in creating a Community Compost project. They not only created a Compost Committee, they also created a short film on why people should compost and how to do it correctly. By posting it on Youtube they are able to share their efforts with other students. It also has subtitles to assist non-Hungarian speakers..
