What personal data we collect and why we collect it
In general, when visiting the website of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, no personal data is saved. However, data can be given on a voluntary basis as in contact forms or comments. No data will be passed on to third parties without your consent. Please note that security cannot be guaranteed for unsecured data transmission on the internet (e.g. via email). When visitors leave comments on this site we collect the information shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Visitor comments are checked through Akismet, an automated spam detection service. The comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely on this site. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments more quickly.
We keep contact form submissions only for the amount of time it takes to answer the query. We do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles and pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website (for example, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube).
