What personal data we collect and why we collect it

In general, when visiting the website of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, no personal data is saved. However, data can be given on a voluntary basis as in contact forms or comments. No data will be passed on to third parties without your consent. Please note that security cannot be guaranteed for unsecured data transmission on the internet (e.g. via email). Such data could possibly be accessed by third parties.

When visitors leave comments on this site we collect the information shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Visitor comments are checked through Akismet, an automated spam detection service. Learn how your comment data is processed by visiting the privacy notice page of the creator of the Akismet product, Automattic.

The comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely on this site. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments more quickly.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and if you are logged in to that website.
