Sisters of the Province of Austria-Italy live and minister primarily in Austria and Italy. Some sisters are also in ministry in Romania.
Fr. Francis Sebastian Job, who wrote Spirit of the Constitution of the Poor School Sisters of Notre Dame, is buried in the motherhouse chapel in Vienna.

At the beginning of August 2014, the Province of Austria-Italy entered into a new relationship with the sisters of the Czechoslovakian Province.
