Prayer for the Novices of the Congregation

Loving God, you have blessed our Congregation countless times and in many ways throughout our history.

Now, as we celebrate with the universal Church the Year of Consecrated Life, we ask you to pour out your graces upon us anew.

Bless especially our efforts to establish the Congregation-wide novitiate.

May our women in initial formation, especially those preparing for their canonical year in Rome, deeply grasp and joyfully live their vocation to the religious state.

Fill them with zeal to strive for unity in the spirit of Mother Theresa.

Deepen in them the love of the Eucharist and of evangelical poverty, the enthusiasm for a transforming work of education and formation, and the appreciation of the dignity of women – those challenging aspects of our charism that are needed and longed for everywhere.

Help us all to support the new novitiate through our daily efforts to faithfully live the enduring vision of You Are Sent.

This we ask through Christ our Lord.  Amen
