“Tolerance is respect, acceptance and appreciation of the rich diversity of our world’s cultures, our forms of expression and ways of being human.” UNESCO’s 1995 Declaration of Principles on Tolerance. 

UNESCO’s Member States on 16 November 1995 adopted the Declaration of Principles on Tolerance . Through this document people are challenged to neither accept intolerance nor indifference.  In it place all are called to respect and appreciation the great variety cultures ,that are  expression of what it meant to be human. People are by nature diverse. It is only tolerance that can make sure that this richness survives.
